Called "a trailblazer" by Forbes Media, Carissa Lintao has spent the past five years working in the "App Economy" as a common-sense app strategist, and educator. Her work has led her to oversee the growth of over 300 apps and the beginning stages of countless aspiring entrepreneurs' app ideas.
Carissa is currently the CEO of Apptuitive, an award-winning app store optimization agency. 70% of app downloads come from app store search, therefore, it's the company's utmost goal to ensure each & every client is set up for their best chance at success without spending an extra dollar on advertising.
Informing Gen Z, women, and minorities about the future of technology & work is her passion as she lives it out through mentoring independently and with TECHNOLOchicas, a division of NCWIT. She's also an independent TEDx advisor to rising Gen Z thought leaders.
One of Carissa's maxims is that founders, designers, developers, & makers have an obligation to uphold responsibility for everything they build.
Aside from app store optimization and mentoring, Carissa researches and reports on overlooked ethical issues regarding tech, such as humane design, social media usage, app developer responsibility, and inequality. Her work can be found on Medium, The Next Web, Hackernoon, The Startup, and ART + Marketing.
